Lake Tour |
Cruise on the Steamship Katahdin as we tour the historic and present day woods operations from the lake. Photographic exhibits and various narrated histories from such scenic spots as the Capons, Spencer Bay, Lily Bay, East Outlet, Hardscrabble, Deer Head, Forest Park, Farm Island, Folsom Farm and Kineo. |

Colby Woodsmen & Bateau |
The Colby Woodsmen’s Team enthralls us with old-time logging skill exhibitions. They are a co-ed athletic club from Colby College. As a new event this year, bateau demonstrations are also planned for East Cove. (Opposite the Community House.) |

Stroll through the school gymnasium and enjoy a variety of exhibits, presentations, and crafters. Be on the lookout for Clum Spencer - our strolling Folklorist and Balladeer - who will once again treat us all to Maine stories and songs. |

Game of Logging |
All events will be held on the Greenville School grounds. “Game of Logging” - Awards ceremony will be held immediately following the completion of all events - prizes totaling $7,000. |

*Log A Load For Kids is a nationwide giving campaign, now in its 18th year, through which the forest products industry contributes to local Children's Miracle Network-affiliated hospitals and organize related fund-raising events. 100 percent of all contributions go directly to local hospitals. |
