Moosehead Region Woods Tour - 2006

Our Forest Heritage Days interpretive Woods Tour is historically an extremely popular event. In 2006 the tour began at 7:00 a.m. at the Community House where folks enjoyed a slide show about the last log drive presented by Marc Johnson. At the end of the slide show, they boarded buses to begin the woods tour.

The 2006 tour included a visit to an active harvesting operation, enroute presentation of the historical perspective on logging in the area, a boxed lunch at a scenic location, and a visit to a forest management site.
